Cable burial
Protection of subsea cables is key. That’s why we have developed expertise in trenching and burying cable, either during installation or using post-lay inspection and burial techniques, working in waters depths of up to 2,000metres and burying below the seabed to a depth of three metres.....................................................................................................................................................
Cable repair
We’ve undertaken cable repairs in every sector of the offshore industry, from digital and analogue telecoms cables to power transmission lines of up to 133kva with integral fibre optic cores. Shore end installation
From floating fibre optic telecommunication cable ashore over 3km of coral reef in Puerto Rico, to pulling 132Kv power transmission cable up a beach in Wales, we’ve got the know-how to work in the most challenging or environmentally-sensitive areas. Project survey and burial assessment
Our capabilities cover a full pre-lay route survey works, including geotechnical, geophysical analysis and burial assessment work. Directional drilling
An alternative to open trench installation when environmental constraints kick in, we use it to instal cable conduits, water or gas pipes – and we’ve deployed it between both onshore to offshore and onshore to onshore locations.....................................................................................................................................................
Power cable and fibre optic cable termination works
As part of a total installation package, we can supply power cable and fibre optic cable jointers/testers to conducted power cable and fibre optic cable termination works, both onshore in the beach manhole and offshore on substations/wind turbine generators.
